Westhead Consulting is the consulting division of Persimmonsoft Technologies and specializes in Macintosh software development.
We have over 14 years of Macintosh experience and provide design and development services in C++ (including Carbon and PowerPlant), Objective-C (Cocoa) and 4th Dimension.

A programmer since 1980, and developing for the Apple Macintosh since 1989.
I have experience in various computer fields.
Since 1994 I have run the successful consulting firm “Westhead Consulting”,
specializing in consumer applications, networking tools and applications,
printing support and database applications for the Macintosh.
Since 1995 I have run my own shareware company “Barking Spider Software”
which produces and maintains a golf statistical analysis tool “GolfMeister”.
Highlights
- At Hotline Communications, involved in the design and development of a cross platform application framework. The framework abstracted (for cross platform development) networking, file system, threading and GUI components to mention a few.
- Designed, developed, and marketed a Macintosh application to record and analyse a user’s golf game.
- Print job tracking system used in conjunction with Software Metrics’ printing accounting system.
- Designed and developed an HRIS system (HR-Link) used by a number of international corporations.
